Amazing Grace

God's law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God's wonderful kindness became more abundant. So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God's wonderful kindness rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:20-21. Now what could possibly be more amazing than that?

Fairest Lord Jesus

This arrangement of Fairest Lord Jesus pairs a great hymn with a familiar classical piece, Bach’s Prelude No. 1 from the Well-Tempered Clavier I. Beautiful Saviour! Lord of the nations! Son of God and Son of man! Glory and honor, praise, adoration, now and forever more be Thine! (verse 4)

Is Anyone Thirsty?

Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink--even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk--it's all free! Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen, and I will tell you where to get food that is good for the soul! Isaiah 55:1-2 Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, "If you are thirsty, come to me! If you believe in me, come and drink! For the Scriptures declare that rivers of living water will flow out from within. John 7:37-38.

Leaning on the Everlasting Arms

Fellowship, joy, safety, security, blessed peace, no fear. Lean on the everlasting arms of Jesus. Praise the Lord; praise God our Savior! For each day he carries us in his arms. Psalm 68:19.

Leavetaking

“Leavetaking” was born of the conflicting emotions a parent experiences when a child leaves home--sadness at the departure, but excitement about the adventure ahead. In the same way, death is a leavetaking that will ultimately end in joy for those who believe. Jesus has been taken away from you into heaven. And someday, just as you saw him go, he will return! Acts 1:11.

Worthy to Enter

“Worthy to Enter” is an attempt to capture in music the holiness of God’s sanctuary and our longing to be found worthy to enter. Who may worship in your sanctuary, LORD? Who may enter your presence on your holy hill? Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts. Psalm 15:1-2.

You Are Here

Psalm 4 describes the conflict between doubtful accusers and a confident believer. “You Are Here” is about the triumph of faith over doubt. You are here, O LORD, where You’ve chosen to be, and You hear, O LORD, whenever I call. You can be sure of this: The LORD has set apart the godly for himself. The LORD will answer when I call to him. Psalm 4:3.

You Have Revealed Your Son

The day of the LORD has come. You have revealed Your Chosen One. You have revealed Your Son. After his baptism, as Jesus came up out of the water, the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and settling on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved son, and I am fully pleased with him. Matthew 3:16-17.
